🚨Fundraising 🚨

Nicole’s FundraiserAnyone who knows me will know I’m not the biggest fan of exercise and can’t think of anything worse than climbing the highest mountain in Africa [never climbed a mountain in my life😁] however, in February/March 2022, I’ve decided to man the fudge up and tackle Mount Kilimanjaro (5895M)
I will be self funding the entire trek while raising as much money as possible for Mbwa Wa Africa, the NGO I have been volunteering with over the past 11 months, which has become my family and second home.
Mbwa wa Africa ‘Dogs of Africa’ relies solely on donations both at the shelter and at our veterinary clinic. At any one time between us we can have up to 70+ dogs and cats in our care and funds have always been tight.
I want to help ease the teams worries as much as I can before I head on another adventure next year.
Jens and Sandra are wonderful, dedicated humans, passionate about making the lives of so many animals better as well as educating the community on animal welfare and bettering legislation where possible.
They work a ridiculous amount of hours and will never say no to an animal in need regardless of being at an overfilled capacity pretty much all the time and they do this all with a smile on their faces.
I couldn’t think of better people and NGO to be able to help and I know every penny raised will go to the animals in desperate need of us here.
I’m fundraising through MWA’s fundraising page and any donation small or large will be gratefully received, it really will make the world of difference out here!
As always, collars, leads, harnesses and blankets (new and used) are always needed as well as medications etc from the veterinary world.

Money I fundraise will primarily be used for:
💫A new kennel block (I have had inpatients tied to every corner of a table, doors, windows etc for months as we do not have adequate kennels at our clinic)
💫A new washing machine (our one barely washes the dirt off clothes and this is super important as we have infectious patients regularly such as parvo)
💫 2 new weighing scales, one for small patients and one for large!
💫Basic medical supplies such as drip lines, fluid bags, bandaging materials and whatever medications we can get hold of in the human pharmacies to continue the care of our regular influx of very sick inpatients.
💫Any additional money will go towards the isolation kennels also being fundraised for presently.

Please support me in helping the dogs of Africa 🙏🏼🐾
